The alcohol meter will help you control alcohol level in your home-made beverages.

The gauge shows the percentage alcohol content. The result of the measurement is the direct, exact reading of the alcohol content and does not include additional calculations.

This device consists of two parts. The first one is a floater, also called aerometer, that has a scale with a closed range of 0 to 85%. The second part of the alcohol meter is the plastic test tube that allows for the exact measurement to happen.

This device should be calibrated at 20-21°C. It is intended for distilled spirits, free of additives and tannins.

In order to conduct the measurement correctly and receive a true, dependable result, you should fill the test tube with a small quantity of liquid. It should allow the floater to float freely without touching the walls of the container. After the submersion level has settled, you may measure the alcohol level by relating to the lower meniscus of the liquid.
